Briefly about Sabina Vartanova

Sabina Vartanova is greatly distinguished among modern performers and composers.

Her talent, naturalness, feeling of style and determination open doors of the most prestigious music venues for her. Numerous Sabina Vartanovas concerts among which song club recitals in Discovery Club, Galereya Art-Café, Durov Club, 16 tons, FM-club, Music Town, B2, Igor Butmans jazz clubs, performances in Moscow International Performing Arts Center, MDM, Composers House and many others attracted a lot of funs to her.

Combination of such music trends as lounge, jazz, soul, r&b, funk pop characterize rich Sabinas music. Her songs are beautiful as performing with the jazz group, so as accompanied by piano, in chamber format, and accompanied by Russkaya Filarmoniya symphony orchestra of Moscow.

In 2008 her unique voice was awarded with Voice of Hope prize of international festival Luxury Lounge Festival, held in Moscow, and her composers talent was awarded by the Union of Composers jury with the first prize of the Young Composers of Russia Competition for the best song in the Chamber Music nomination.

Sabinas music, having absorbed art of Stevie Wander, Astrud Gilberto, Michael Franks, George Benson, Al Jarreau, is a combination of music harmonies of soul, jazz, rhythm and blues, lounge and a feeling voice with a catching style of performance. She does not depend on TV channels and radio stations formats, and at the same time you have heard her tracks You and I and Illusion not once on Jazz radio. That is why, possibly, Sabina does not have anything in common with the native variety, though it only benefits to her.

new album "Music & Love"

On 16-th of March 2016, in Durov Club, in the terms of 'Jazz in Motion' project, supported by Radio Jazz, took place the presentation of new concert program and new album of Sabina Vartanova 'Music &Love', consisting of 10 best songs, composed by her in 2007-2010 years. The name 'Music & Love' fully reflects its content.

The author of arrangements and sound producer of the album was Valery Grokhovsky - great Russian and American piano player, professor of piano class in Saint Antonio Texas University, now Head of Instrumental Jazz Department in RAM of Gnessin. He was not only player of piano party, but also leaded record of such famous instrumental players as Anton Davidyants - bass, Sergey Ostroumov - drums, Pavel Chekmakovsky - guitar, Timur Nekrasov and Leonid Drutin - sax.

The album was written with maximum forces of soul and talent of all its participants. Presentation of album 'Music & Love' was held with participation of: Leonid Drutin - sax, Alexey Kalyapichew - piano, Vladimir Chernyshkov - guitar, Dmitry Belousov - bass, Pavel Kovan - drums.
